As lovers of bold and complex wines from Temecula, we were curious to explore the Mexican wine scene—and Bodegas Entrevez blew us away!
The quality of the wines was absolutely outstanding. Each sip revealed layers of depth and craftsmanship that rivaled many of the robust varietals we’ve enjoyed back home. We especially loved the El Tinto del 5 de Mayo, with its perfect blend of Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon—rich, balanced, and memorable.
The highlight of our visit was touring the cellar, which felt like stepping back in time. The stone walls and dim lighting gave it the ambiance of a 17th-century convent, making the tasting experience not just enjoyable but truly immersive and exciting.
We left with several bottles and a newfound respect for Mexican winemaking excellence. Bodegas Entrevez is a hidden gem we’ll definitely return to!
