We visited Valle de Guadalupe last fall on a weekend escape—just the two of us, looking to reconnect with nature, wine, and each other. When we checked into our boutique hotel, the concierge didn’t hesitate: “You must try I-Pétra. It’s more than a restaurant—it’s an experience.”
They were right.
Tucked into the landscape, I-Pétra felt like it belonged to the earth itself. The architecture—massive stones, open-air terraces, and soft lighting—set the tone for a meal we’ll never forget. We dined al fresco, surrounded by vineyards and firelight.
Maverick ordered the wood-fired ribeye, rich and smoky. I went with the Baja sea bass—so fresh it felt like it had just been caught. We shared a bottle of local Nebbiolo, perfectly paired. Every plate was art. Every flavor told a story.
It wasn’t just dinner—it was a moment of magic. The kind you talk about for years.
